The company delivers infrastructure projects across multiple locations and is currently expanding its project engineering capabilities.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Engineer currently based in Latin America to join the company’s Metering Team in Ireland.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of utility metering projects across Leinster, combining engineering, coordination, site management, and client engagement.
This is a hands-on project delivery role working closely with project managers, site teams, utility providers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
The role is suited to an engineer who is comfortable working across both office and site environments and wants to continue developing within the utilities and infrastructure sector.

This opportunity is exclusively for candidates currently based in Latin America.
The successful candidate must be willing to relocate from Latin America to Ireland.
Relocation is mandatory and non-negotiable for this role.
The company will support and manage the relocation process for the successful candidate.
This is not a remote position. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Ireland and travel to project locations throughout Leinster as required.
Responsabilidades principales
Manage and coordinate the engineering and technical aspects of metering projects across Leinster. Support projects from initial planning and design through to installation, commissioning and completion. Coordinate with clients, utility companies, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams. Review drawings, specifications, technical documentation and project requirements. Carry out site surveys, inspections and technical assessments as required. Assist with the planning and scheduling of site works and installation activities. Monitor project progress against programme, budget, quality and technical requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors. Ensure metering installations are completed in accordance with relevant standards, specifications and client requirements. Identify and resolve technical issues, site constraints and project risks. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, records and handover information. Assist with procurement, material requirements and subcontractor coordination. Support commissioning, testing and final project close-out. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Metering Team.
Condiciones laborales
Degree in Engineering, Construction, Energy, Utilities or a related discipline. Previous experience in a project engineering, utilities, construction or infrastructure environment. Strong organisational and project coordination skills. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. Good understanding of health and safety requirements within construction and utility environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors and site teams. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to projects throughout Leinster.
