We have immediate requirement for a Data Engineer with our direct clients in Houston TX. The position is a long term contract and 100% remote position.
The selected candidate is expected to work during CST timezone.
Role Overview:
As a Data Engineer at client, you'll be at the core of the data infrastructure that powers our physician intelligence platform. Working closely with our real-world claims data asset, you'll design and maintain the pipelines that transform raw healthcare data into reliable, high-quality datasets used across our Practice, Insights, and other product pods. This is a mid-level role with real ownership — you'll partner directly with product managers and data scientists to model and expose the data that shapes the insights physicians rely on every day.
Responsabilidades principales
Build and maintain claims data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, and validation) that power client's physician intelligence features; Partner with PMs and data scientists to model and expose product datasets that surface actionable insights for clinicians; Instrument data quality monitoring and alerting to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our healthcare data asset; Contribute to the design and evolution of our data warehouse architecture as the platform scales
Requisitos indispensables
Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with demonstrated experience designing schemas for analytical workloads; Experience with Python for data engineering (pandas, PySpark, or equivalent); Experience with a modern data orchestration tool (Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster); Experience with a cloud data warehouse — Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift; any major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) is accepted; 2+ years of data engineering experience in a production environment
